1st National Perpignan Yearlings 2005

Father Claude, Nathan, Corine and Pascal

The duo Liart consists of father Claude , 67 years old and son Pascal , both living in Montignies-Lez-Lens. They have raced together for more than 30 years without too many top results, mainly because of lack of time. The real start was in 2002, after bringing in fresh stock.

2005:
Three yearlings were basketed for Perpignan. The 1st national was clocked at 2220hrs Saturday evening, and his brother was clocked at 0829hrs (810mpm) Sunday morning, also winning a very early prize. It could have been 1st 1nternational! Just before 22OOhrs Pascal went to check Pipa to see if any pigeons had already arrived home from the Perpignan race. Meanwhile it had gotten dark already.. At 22.20 he went to check his loft to see if there were any pigeons and was in for a big surprise as the Perpignan winner was already waiting in the loft. The system is very easy: the normal widowhood system, only with cocks. The issue of feeding is also simple: 3 to 5 days depurification before basketing. The young pigeons race about 5 to 6 races in their year of birth up to about 300km.

Medical supervision:
One month before the races, they give a treatment for 5 days against tricho, and afterwards one day tricho every 3 to 4 weeks; also a cure for the respiratory system (if necessary after consultation veterinary). During the season they also give a cure if their results are getting worse.

Strains: In 2001 they bought 3 pairs from Mr. Casaert Maurice en Grégory - Néchin and 3 pair from the loft of Mr Lavenne Père et Fille from Eugie. In 2002 they got 4 eggs as a present from Mr Casaert and they got 2 pairs as a present from Mr Casaert Sénéchal . In 2003 a hen from Mr Casaert and one from Mr Casaert Sénéchal . In 2005 4 youngsters from Mr Casaert from the line of the 1st National Souillac.

Mainly participating in the middle-to-heavy middle & long distance races.

La Souterraine Yearlings 4-10-12-17-34-77-85-86 from 267 pigeons - 8 prizes out of 15. Interprovincial 48th and 249th from 6874 pigeons. Châteauroux Yearlings 3-5-6-8-35-45-59-74 from 232 pigeons - 8 prizes out of 15. Interprovincial 111 - 175 - 198 -203 etc... from 4323 pigeons. Châteauroux Yearlings 4-7-8-10-61-63-105 on 398 pigeons - 7 prizes out of 14. CE 171-189 etc from 12,992 pigeons. Brive old pigeons 6-39-54 from 228 pigeons - 3 prizes out of 4.
Bourges Yearlings 1 st -14-39 from 122 pigeons. Derby Hainaut 2 nd . In the month of July - 4 first prizes with yearlings. Argenton 1st and 2nd from 120 pigeons. Bourges 1st from 122 pigeons. Bourges 1st from 159 pigeons. Perpignan 1st National.
