THE BROMFORD NORTH RD FLYING CLUB 24/8/10 sent
15/168 birds to aycliffe transported by the coalville fed liberated at 12 noon into a north east wind with a e.t.a of 2hrs 45min to cover the 145 miles aprox.
1st having his third win of the season was jimmy freeman with a blue hen vel 1527 pools £5.75 r/r £20.00 this young han was bred out of a 2009 late bred cock which jimmy had off keith & pam brown out of their 9 x 1st 137 coulemans cheq cock.the dam is a direct coulamans two year old which keith let jimmy have to pair to this cock.
2nd keith and pam brown with another eric coulamans cheq w/f hen one that was bought over from belgium on his visit to erics in april this year vel 1520 and £10.00 r/r.this bird also wins the gold ring race.
3rd derek garnett and son vel 1518 and pools £28.20 its nice to see derek back in the frame as he wasnt certain if he would be racing this year due to not being to well at the beginning of the season and only breeding a few y/bs this young bird is out of a 3 year old red fox janssen off keith and pam brown paired onto a janssen hen off paul skinner.
4th jim freeman with a cheq cock out of a yearling cock from keith and pam brown 8 x 1st pied coulamans cock paired onto a hen of mark collins so it is bred out of two of the best fanciers birds in the club.vel 1516 pools £2.30 plus £10.00 r/r.
the first four birds in the club this week i noticed were all related to birds from keith and pam browns loft.the rest of the pools money and r/r money were won by dave hewitt at 5th 7th & 9th £19.52 pools and £30.00 r/r.keith & pam brown at 6th 17th & 23rd pools £46.83 r/r £10.00 next ken oliver £10.00 r/r the last £10.00 ring raffle was won by john & shirley moore.
the club also held its special ring race this week with £270.00 to be flown for divided 50-30-20.
1st in sixth position keith & pam brown winning £135.00 2nd & 3rd was dave hewitt at 7th & 9th also winning £135.00.
birmingham one loft gold ring race update

keith & pam sent 16 gold rings bird to the race leaving four in the loft not yet fit to race the first gold ring back to the loft taking second club and first gold ring for paul lane and winning this weeks £100.00 prize paul is a none fancier and only had a go for a bit of fun with his mates fred & mick all three decided to split any winnings fred & mick are the pigeon men and are now able to talk paul into having a few himself.well done paul and there is still time to win some more with four races to go with only 11 out of the 16 sent home on the day this week things are getting tough but still alls not lost with birds returning or being reported keith tells me the y/b team is now back over twenty

1st club and continuing having a fantastic season is jimmy freeman not only did he win the race he also took the first seven places in the club which i believe is also a club record jimmy has only moved to his presant address in the last eighteen months he has also had a new loft and set up he has gone from strength to strength with racing his birds.
he now tells me he will call these young birds his magnificent seven and hopes they will go on and win more prizes so lets hope the new house is a lucky one for you jim.
jimmys first bird is a vandenabeeles out of a pair he purchased in 2009to breed off this young blue hen vel 1164 pools £27.28 r/r £20.00 his second bird a cheq hen out of a coulemans cock onto a mark collins hen vel 1163.5 pools £16.36 & r/r £10.60 jimmys 3rd bird a pied hen with a vel of 1163.2 £41.79 pools £10.00 r/r.
this young hen is bred off a coulamans yearling off keith & pam in 2009 which is also the nest mate that bred last weeks winner for jimmy.
4th place a cheq hen bred out of a braspenning blue janssen cock paired onto a jannsen hen from barnfield & son vel 1163.02 r/r £10.00 jimmy also won r/r £40.00 for being 5th,6th,7th & 10th club plus £22.62 at 6th club nice one jimmy the rest of the pools & r/r were won by keith & pam brown at 8th £9.75 pools £10.00 r/r this bird also wins the gold ring schemefor mark thompson. dave hewitt wins £10.00 r/r at 9th
the birmingham gold ring one loft race up date
keith & pam sent 11 birds to ripon leaving 8 birds in the loft as origanoly the birds were to go to whitley bay but due to poor returns the week before from aycliffe the coalville fed decided to go to ripon so with 11 out of 11 keith & pam have 19 to go to ripon on 28-8-10 leaving just two at home one of which was reported up in hartlypool on sunday.keith got in touch with u k couriers on 01260273433 on monday and by 8.30am on tuesday the bird was back in the loft.this was great stuff well done u k couriers keith would recommend this courier service to anyone.
this weeks golg ring winner and winner of the £100.00 is mark thompson with gb2010b42 this bird was also 8th club.
mark is a none flyer but thought a bit of a gamble would be fun mark & his partner kerry are the proud parents of a three week old little girl called rachel so congratulations to both of you i know the winnings will now come in handy well done mark and good luck
