On Saturday 19th April The Red Rose Federation were at Kempsey when 113 members sent 1867 birds that were liberated at 10-25 into a fresh East wind and for the third week in a row it is the loft of J.Parry & Sons of Lancaster Invitation who top the federation on 1331 with a 5 year old they are also 8th on 1240-9 with a yearling. In 2nd & 5th places are M.McCartney & Son of Carnforth on 1281 & 1266, the first a 3 year old the other a 2 year old. D.McCartney of Lancaster City takes 3rd & 4th fed on 1272 & 1268 with a 3 year old followed by a 2 year old. In 6th fed are C.Neild & Son of Morecambe on 1243 with a 5 year old. The Heysham loft of B.Holroyd & Daughter are in 7th fed on 1241 with a 2 year old. Mr & Mrs Harrington of Morecambe take 9th fed on 1240-8 with a 5 year old and Duckworth / Simpson / Duckworth of Milnthorpe complete the top ten on 1238 with a 2 year old.

In 1st & 4th places are B.Holroyd & Daughter on 1241 & 1218, the first a 3 year old followed by a 2 year old. In 2nd place is Geoff Wallbank on 1232 with a 3 year old and Tony Bolsover & Sons are in 3rd place on 1228 with a 2 year old.
MILNTHORPE:
Duckworth / Simpson / Duckworth take top spot here on 1238 with a 2 year old, P.Robinson & Son are in 2nd & 4th places on 1217 & 1208 - 7, the first a 3 year old followed by a 4 year old, whilst R.Crowe is in 3rd place on 1208 - 9 with a 2 year old.
KENDAL:
The loft of A & A Chorley take 1st & 3rd places here on 1237 & 1216 both of these are 2 year olds. In 2nd place is P.Sarginson on 1218 again with a 2 year old and B.Blamire is in 4th spot on 1212 with a 4 year old.
FRECKLETON:
P.Howard wins this one on 1223 with a yearling.
PEMBERTON WEST:
Taking the red card here is J.Beardsmore with a yearling blue pied Van Reet hen on 1208 bred from stock of club mates P.Derricott & Son. In 2nd place on 1200 is W.Holleron with a 2-year-old blue pied Vandanabeele x Soontjen cock from stock of Billy Lees of Leeds.
