Frank is successfully racing a team of pigeons in Belgium and therefore all the stock birds at Stretton must go.

Frank is putting up tremendous performances through to National level in Belgium continuing his winning ways from here in the UK. He is now racing against many of the household names from the continent where UK fanciers go to purchase their birds and in 2008 was by far the highest prizewinner racing just old birds. This is your chance to purchase birds that Frank himself selected for the stock loft.

Bids can be placed online at www.elimarpigeons.com up until Friday 6th February 09. The highest online bid for each pigeon will then be the starting bid in the saleroom.

The sale will take place at The Lostock Club, Manchester Road, Lostock, Northwich, Cheshire. CW9 7NW. To be held on Sunday 8th February 2009. Viewing from 11.30am with the sale commencing at 12.30pm - please note the starting time. This is an easy venue to find on the Manchester Road, Northwich from Junction 19 of the M6.

As many will know Frank always purchased the very best with cost being no barrier. He is also a fancier who looks for the small consistent winning fancier and goes to purchase from the best winners and breeders.

Please note that this is not a weeding out sale as all UK stock birds are to be sold with a minimum £40 starting bid.

Frank’s search took him to the prolific winning loft of Gilbert Meire a little know continental fancier here in the UK but his pigeons are used by top continental fanciers who have to wait for them. Gilbert is one of the very best fanciers in East Flanders and again in 2008 and being well into his 80’s was the top man being the Ardennen Champion 2008. Continental expert scribe Ad Schaerlaeckens wrote about this small team fancier with the big winners and how in his very small loft kept his racers and stock birds that are competing against and beating the big guns. The very good National performer “Spongebob” of G & S Verkerk is a grandson of “Gilbert” the Meire racing and stock cock of W. De Bruijen. For those who have had the experience of the Gilbert Meire loft will be fully aware of what a small team he has and how many winners other fanciers have had through these birds.
