GRAND PHONE-IN-SQUEAKER AUCTION SALE

 

The President and Committee of the L&SECC are very proud to present this our latest Grand Phone-In Squeaker Auction Sale in aid of our transporter fund. Although we have a good working vehicle, the committee have been looking too the future of our Classic Club and realise that certain item on the transporter need up dating or re-placing. Pigeon Transporters are not cheap equipment to maintain these days and the Committee felt some time ago it was time to start building a fund. The L&SECC President, Keith Mott, has obtained a wonderful draft of top class 2012 youngsters to have a phone in auction, to help raise funds for the Classic’s transporter. We think it’s fair to say that this is one of the best drafts of youngsters ever put together for auction. This is a once in a life time opportunity for the general fancy to obtain young birds from some of the very best lofts in the world of pigeon racing, sprint and long distance.

 

Lot 1. Mark Gilbert of Windsor: This loft is founded on the very best long distance bloodlines in the world! Mark has become a legend in National and Classic racing in recent seasons, and his loft must rate as one of the very best in the sport. 1st International Dax, 1st NFC Saintes / Pau, 1st NFC Saintes (2011), 1st L&SECC Bergerac, 1st L&SECC Guernsey, 1st L&SECC Vire (OH) (2011) and several wins in the BICC. A brilliant fancier!

Lot 2. David & Gary Heywood of Laindon: The Essex legends! A fantastic loft with a brilliant record in National and Classic racing, winning 1st NFC (twice), 1st L&SECC (three times) and 1st BICC (four times). This wonderful record was enhanced in 2011 season with the partners winning, 1st, 2nd NFC Fougeres and 1st open L&SECC Bergerac. A youngster you must bid for!

Lot 3. Paul Arnold of North Cheam: Paul has probably one of the best lofts of all round Staf Van Reets in Europe today, winning a long list of premier positions in the Three Borders Federation in the 2011 season, including 1st SMT Combine Bergerac (450 miles), with him clocking his sole entry on the day and 2nd SMT Combine Messac. Paul’s pigeons are winning for him and other countless fanciers in the UK, so if you want a top Staf Van Reet, bid for this one. A brilliant fancier with fantastic pigeons!

Lot 4. David & Lesley Bridger of East Preston: A premier winning loft in long and short distance races! David has won the Federation and Combine many times flying both North and South road and in 2011 won 1st open L&SECC Tarbes (550 miles), clocking the only birds on the day. Don’t miss out get on the phone and bid now!

Lot 5. John Keywood of Hersham: John is a legend in the Surrey pigeon racing fraternity! He has won countless 1st Federations through the years, including 1st SMT Combine Yelverton in 2011 and previously to that won 1st SMT Combine three times. John is kindly offering a grand child of Ch.‘Jupiter’.

Lot 6. Darran & Des McFadden of Cranleigh: Put up some great performances in recent seasons including 1st Federation and 1st open SMT Combine (three times). Darren put up one of the best loft performances in the UK in 2008, winning twice 1st open SMT Combine and 1st open L&SECC Tarbes (550 miles). A youngster you must bid for!

Lot 7. Crammond & Langstaff of Fontwell: A loft full of quality and several premier wins in National and Classic races to back it up. Winners of 1st NFC (2011), 1st open BICC, 1st open L&SECC (three times) in recent seasons and several Section A winners in the NFC, including three times 1st in 2011. Successful winners with M. & D. Evans / Vandenabeele pigeons, including ‘Crackerjack’ 1st open L&SECC Bergerac 2008. Nigel has donated a youngster off his best Vandenabeele stock birds. Another squeaker to defiantly bid for!

Lot 8. Chitty Brothers of Kings Langley: One the best lofts in the south of England and winners of countless 1st Federations, six times 1st open Combine and twice 1st open L&SECC. Brian and Dick won 1st Federation three times in the 2011 season.

Lot 9. Brian & Angela Goodwin of Hanworth: The very best of the Belgian bloodlines. Brian is a brilliant all round fancier winning Federations at all distances, including several times 1st Federation in recent seasons. The Goodwin loft has won 1st Combine five times, from Penzance, Melle and Bergerac (three times). A great pigeon racer!

Lot 10. Terry Haley of Watford: One of the best North Road lofts ever and the home of the great Champion ‘Misty Lady’! Terry has had some wonderful success in recent seasons, winning: 3rd open L&SECC Guernsey, 1st Fed Berwick, 1st Fed Pontefract, 2nd Fed Stonehaven, 2nd Fed Thurso and so on.

Lot 11. Clive Turner of Capel: One of the top flyers in the L&SECC in the 2011 season, including winning 1st & 4th open Alencon. Clive’s successful Staf Van Reet and Busschaert pigeons have won many firsts in the very strong Horsham club and 1st Federation also in 2011. A wonderful record!

Lot 12. Bellchambers Brothers of Brentford: Derek has had a brilliant 2010 season, the highlight being 1st L&SECC Guernsey (OH). The loft has won the Federation countless times through the years, including twice 1st SMT Combine and 1st, 2nd, 6th open NFC Guernsey (YB). A youngster not to miss out on!

Lot 13. Richard & Ken O’Connor of Croydon: The O’Connor brother’s record speaks for it’s self: 80 times 1st Federation, 1st open L&SECC Bergerac, three times 2nd open L&SECC, several premier NFC performances and eight times 1st open Combine. One of the very best lofts of winning pigeon in the UK. I will say no more!

Lot 14. Ken & Lyn Wise of Isleworth: One of the best racing lofts of M. & D. Evans / Vandenabeele pigeons in the UK. Ken has won the Federation and Combine many times through the years, and the 2011 season saw him win 1st L&SECC Tours and 1st L&SECC Carentan (YB) with Vandenabeele pigeons. A brilliant performance! Ken is donating a M. & D. Evans / Vandenabeele youngster from the stock loft!

Lot 15. Phil & Maria Dunstall of Taplow: This partnership have won many times 1st Federation through the years, 1st open NFC Vire in 1999, and 1st open L&SECC Vire (YB) 2011. Their brilliant record speaks for it’s self! They own a large and very successful stock team of Leo Van Rijn of Holland pigeons and have donated two 2012 youngsters off these stock birds (Lots 15 & 16). Phil & Maria’s brilliant 2011 young bird performances with the Leo Van Rijn pigeons are listed below.

Lot 17. Fred Hall & Daughters of Worthing: An outstanding south coast loft that has won Classic and National races in recent seasons. Fred has won 1st NFC Pau, 1st and 2nd BICC La Ferte Bernard, and in 2007 won 1st open NFC Alencon. Another great all round loft, winning short and long in the very best competition.

Lot 18. Alasdair Muir of Dorking: Another of our best long distance fanciers! 1st open L&SECC Pau, 1st open L&SECC Bordeaux, 1st open L&SECC Angers and has been five times in the first 50 open NFC Pau in recent seasons, plus 2nd open BICC Dax in 2003 and 1st open BICC Tarbes in 2010. Alasdair has kindly donated a youngster off his 2010 L&SECC Merit Award winning hen, who is a grand daughter of ‘Andy’s Boy’ winner of 1st open L&SECC Pau and the L&SECC Merit Award.

Lot 19: Reg & Richard Maybey of Virginia Water: I’m highly delight that this successful Berkshire partnership have donated a 2012 youngster, as their record in Federation, Combine and Classic racing in recent seasons is second to none. They have won the Federation countless time and the Combine several time through their many years in the sport, with the 2011 season seeing them win seven times 1st Federation, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 8th SMT Combine Messac and 1st section E NFC Fougeres. A wonderful loft of pigeons!

Lot 20. Garry Inkley of Hillingdon: Another premier loft in the Classic in recent years, winning top positions every season, including 1st and 2nd open L&SECC Dax in 2003 with his wonderful hens, ‘Festival Enigma’ and ‘Rathen Echo’, 1st open L&SECC Alencon 2008 and 1st open L&SECC Falaise 2010. Gary has won the L&SECC ‘Amtrak Trophy’ for fancier of the year. A lot you must bid for!

Lot 21. Keith & Betty Mott of Claygate: The President is donating a youngster bred from the very best of Brian Denney’s Tarbes (748 miles) National bloodlines, being bred from ‘Sasha’s Boy’, a full brother to ‘Dark Charm’ winner of 1st sect K, 5th open NFC Tarbes (750 miles) 2007, ‘John’ winner of 4th sect K, 17th open NFC Tarbes 2007, ‘Dark Dancer’ winner of 6th sect K, 27th open NFC Tarbes 2007, 1st sect K, 48th open NFC Fougeres, 2nd sect K, 4th open NFC Tarbes (748 miles) 2009. The 2011 L&SECC donation youngster’s parents are their number one Brian Denney stock pair: ‘Sasha’s Boy’ when mated to ‘Lady Tuff Nut’ daughter of Champion ‘Tuff Nut’, who must rate as one of the very best long distance all round racing and breeding champions in the world today. The first pair of youngsters bred from this wonderful pair went back to Brian Denney’s loft in 2011!
