This is an Internet/Saleroom auction. Bids can be placed online at www.elimarpigeons.com up until Friday 1st October 2010. The highest online bid for each pigeon will then be the starting bid in the saleroom. The sale will take place at The Lostock Club, Manchester Road, Lostock, Northwich, Cheshire. CW9 7NW. To be held on Sunday 3rd October 2010. Viewing from 11.30am with the sale commencing at 12.30pm - please note the starting time. This is an easy venue to find on the Manchester Road, Northwich from Junction 19 of the M6.

All the stock birds are going due to lack of time to spend with both race and stock housed at "Aquaduct lofts". This is one of the premier racing and breeding lofts in Cheshire with many outstanding performances through to National level. Mike O'Hare assures Elimar that at some time while these pigeons have been in their stock loft they have bred winners.

Part one of this two part sale comprises mainly Staf Van Reets, mostly direct from Tranquillity Lofts. There are many grandchildren of the legendary Toey on offer.

A photo (if available) and a pedigree of each of the Lots can be viewed on the online auction site. A paper pedigree for each bird will be available in the saleroom.

Here are just a few of the positions won by pigeons bred from birds in this sale. Most have bred winners at some time while in the stock loft. In 2003 these lads bought 10 pairs of SVR from Mr & Mrs Mardon and raced young birds from them in 2004 winning 22 x 1st Club and 7 x 1st Fed. Their SVRs bred winners from the start with some of the pairings and performances being: 03V12408 x 03V12418 - in their 1st year they bred 2nd Sect 7th Open Western Region Gold Ring Race and 2nd Fed 3rd Combine. They have bred winners ever since including 1st Fed and 1st Middlewich 2 Bird club in 2006, right through to this year when a hen won 1st Mid Cheshire Fed Fougeres; 03V12414 x 03V12406 is another good pairing. In their first year 2004 they bred 3 x 1st Club, 1st Fed 2nd Combine, 7th Fed 10th Combine and 9th Fed 9th Combine. In 2005 they bred 1st Fed, 1st Shires County Combine Falaise; 03V12402 in 2004 bred 1st Cub, 1st Fed and 10th Sect, 39th Open Bamfords Gold Ring Race; 03V12405 x 03V12434 bred a 1st Fed winner in 2004, and 12434 was dam to their 1st Open NWCC this year from Portland into a north wind; 05V70956 is the sire of the above NWCC winner and he is bred from 03V12391 x 03V12409; GB01Z35354 has bred many winners including 6th Sect L and 10th Sect L in the N.F.C; GB03V12391 paired to GB03V12412 bred 2nd Fed beaten by loftmate; GB03V12411 has bred 2 x 1st Fed and 1 x 2nd Fed and is g-s of a fed winner; GB03V12414 x GB03V12406 bred 4th Sect L N.F.C. Lot 59. GB04E59838. Blue Hen responsible for many winners. This hen is a double granddaughter of "The Witty Cock" so contains all the best of the bloodlines and the partnership commented that if any pigeon in the stock loft was to be retained this would be the one. She is bred from the last son of "The Witty Cock" responsible for numerous winners. The dam was their best young bird in 1998 and is their best ever breeding hen.
