Louis and Herman made up the formidable partnership of Pouw Brothers - their results over the last several years have been nothing short of astounding!

The strain of pigeons kept are Janssen, in fact Louis and Herman had about 26 direct birds from the famous Janssen Brothers, the breeding of these birds is impeccable all containing the winning lines of this fantastic family of pigeons. Now at this time they have there own Pouw Janssen Family.

 Many trips were made to Arendonk and they became very good friends with the Janssen Brothers. At first they would have to accept what the Brothers gave them but after regular visits it wasn’t long before the Brothers let them select what they wanted.

A simple widowhood system is practiced as Herman and Louis believe in the quality of the pigeons to complete the task they expect of them and we're sure you will agree with over 150 first prizes from 1997-2006 they are certainly achieving the require task........winning!

All the 2006  youngsters are ready to pair up! These pigeons did not race at Pouw Bros loft, all the youngsters were for Taiwan but the order was cancelled!

At the Barry McNicholas sale, one of the Pouw Brothers’ pigeons namely Golden Balls, made 4,600 English pounds!
