"With Distance in Mind" Hi all. We took the birds training last night 40 miles. The clocking system was not on as we still did not have the required joiner to power the antennas in loft 2. The birds took just over an hour and I took them again this morning. We are training 92 birds so I let them go in 2 batches of 46. The 1st batch I liberated at 08.25 into a light southerly wind this morning then the 2nd batch at 08.35. As you can see on the result, there is a break in the times. 6 pigeons literally jumped in on the backs of the others so do not show on the clock but all are home. The pigeons are training at the same lib site and on Tuesday night the birds took over an hour and a half but the weather was so hot. Anyway, they all came home and must have explored a good part of the countryside. We will keep you posted. All the best - Lou.
