DVD INTERVIEW No. 1. The world-renowned Belgian pigeon vet Dr Ferdinand Vandersanden.
Ferdy is a modern day expert on the health and breeding of racing pigeons and advises many of Europe’s elite fanciers. The DVD covers those diseases which make all the difference between winning and being an also-ran, with Ferdi providing expert explanations; he also outlines a watering system that helps to keep pigeons healthy. This section lasts for approximately 45 minutes before going on to show you the National and International winning pigeons in Ferdy’s Bifs Breeding Centre. The pigeons housed here include one of the best racing and breeding cocks in Europe over the last 10 years, namely "Nationaal II", a 1st National winner himself and the sire of a 1st National winner, amongst many other top winners. Taveirne-Rigole are one of the best breeding lofts in Belgium with their stock being responsible, in one way or another, for at least 34 x 1st National, International winners or National Ace Pigeons. Their pigeons are winning around the world and are specialists when it comes to National, One-Loft and Classic Type races. Part 1 concentrates on aspects of their system and breeding with over one hour of discussion. Part 2 continues with further observations on their systems and breeding and goes on to show their lofts and pigeons.

The Stijn Van Laere have one of the most up-to-date modern day winning lofts in Belgium and their performances in 2010 outlined just how good they are. They won over 60 x 1st prizes and a total that exceeds 400 positions in the first ten, figures which are way up there amongst the best in Belgium. This is a name that will be around the top of the results for many years to come.
