winners reported in 2007 with the best up and coming racing and
breeding pigeons in the UK. The performances are in club, fed, combine
and National racing.
2006 was a great year for the Taveirne-Rigole pigeons in the UK. Updates will be made when received. Whether minor or major the fanciers listed below have all reported winning prizes with Taveirne-Rigole based stock and some winners have only had the odd pair. 37 x 1sts prizes won with old birds alone in the UK by the end of June 4 x 1st section winners at National level with Taveirne-Rigole based pigeons, young birds bred at Elimar also winning for others. Parkinson & Wilkinson have competed in only three National races with their team of mainly Taveirne-Rigole pigeons winning, 1st 20th 48th 49th section 3rd 33rd 97th 98th open St Nazair 408mls. 9th 16th 39th 77th section 16th 32nd 86th 196th open St Malo 319mls. 19th 28th 36th 42nd section 93rd 180th 212th 258th open Saintes over 520mls. Dave Valentine & Son 3rd section K 11th Open Saintes NFC 551mls 2006 RPRA Region award winner 2006. A number of winning young birds have been reported the latest being 1st club 1st fed vel 1215ypm 5/8/06 Mr & Mrs Nigel Shaw bred by Taveirne-Rigole. The same partnership have had several pigeons in the top 100 National races with this same family of pigeons including 5th open. Len Downie from Erroll has had a cracking season in club, fed and National racing with his family of Taveirne-Rigole stock Len has also won with young bird bred at Elimar in 06. David & Craig Wilkinson of Middlewich winning top prizes from across the channel in club fed and 2B. Roger Sutton. Mr & Mrs Mike O'Grady. Steve Bennett. Chris Harding. Ian Baillie. G&K&C.Hitchin. Andy Galley only had them for 18 months and reported in excess of 10 x 1sts when he first introduced that at The Tannery. John & Dave Staddon 21st Open CSCFC pooled to £5 sec & open plus the noms, bred at Elimar in 06. Jim Bryan has had another excellent season with the Taveirne-Rigole based pigeons that are now established in his loft. Derek Woodward won the 05 breeder buyer with a Taveirne-Rigole bred pigeon that has already bred him two 1st prize winners in 06. 7 pigeons in the top 100 at St Nazaire. 6 pigeons in the top 100 St Malo. Chris Knowles has an excellent team of these pigeons. Harrison & Hull winning in club, fed, combine and National plus two RPRA Region awards in 2006. Mr & Mrs Terry Williams had one form Nigel Shaw and scored straight away. These pigeons have topped the feds in Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire, Somerset, Kent, into Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Yearlings on the Result flying over 500mls in the NFC Saintes race. National Performances are increasing race by race with Taveirne-Rigole pigeons. They have won from the South Coast as well as into Scotland "Give them time and they will win against the best" was the view of a Taveirne-Rigole fan having won to National level with these excellent pigeons.
