Hessle and Dist. FC News and Results.

 

Hessle were at Chelmsford this Saturday April 29th When 12 members sent 324 bird and topping the leader board once again were Pete and Carol Carmichael taking 1st. and 2nd. club vel's 1683 & 1676.

First with a 3yo. blue hen which as won and carded before bred once again by Dave Robinson of Cottingham ,in 2nd. place club came a yearling blue hen an actual daughter of the above winner

3rd. club vel. 1675 were Pete and Jan Moody with a Cooreman x Soonjen yearling chequer cock.

4th. club vel. 1648 Barry Milburn with an all pooler Vandabeele bred by John Ellerby.

               

Pete Carmichael and G/daughter Georgia + Sally                       -                     Pete Moody winner from Maidstone.

 

On to Maidstone May 6th.where conditions were totally the opposite to last week.

The pigeons were liberated at 11.05 into a cold brisk northeasterly a stern test for the pigeons who bravely fought through it to reach home .The winner in Hessle and moving up a notch with an all pooler and 2-Bird Championship club nominated bird came P. and J. Moody vel. 1256.368 with a yearling chequer cock bred by Bob Fenech one of his Cooreman breed.2nd. club vel. 1256.088 beaten by the narrowest of margins were P. and C. Carmichael with a yearling chequer cock carded as a young bird an Evans and Cuthbert bred from 2 winners. 3rd. club vel 1232 again P. and C. Carmichael with a yearling blue hen bred from '611' and related to Pete's and Dave Robinsons 'Humberside' trophy family.

4th. club vel. 1232 P. and J. Moody with a 4yo. Cooreman which has carded before and is a good channel bird.
