Laurieston Homing Society Presentation & Quiz

Laurieston Homing Society held its presentation quiz  on Friday 25th November in Grahamston bowling club Falkirk  guests for the evening were Bruce McKenzie and Joe Hunt from Dundee they kindly stepped in after original guests Norman Renton and Andrew Lees had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances best wishes from the club to both of them.

Main prize winners for the fourth year in a row were Angus Orr & son they won eight firsts and the following trophys  old  bird average, young bird average, combined average, best average 2 fed opens ,3 longest old bird race average, bird of the year trophy, Littlehampton &fed opens average, yearling derby trophy, kelso ob  ,Otterburn ob, Wakefield ob, Newark open , Newark 2  Leicester ob   Otterburn yb ,Ripon 1 yb

Quite remarkable flying with a small team of pigeons!

Jim Jack won trophies for Ripon ob ripon 2 yb, Wakefield yb and best average last 3 young bird races

Martin Conlin won Appleby ob trophy

Tam Lyon won Littlehampton ob trophy

Ian White won first club SNFC Reims trophy

Sandy Watson collected first club SNFC Buckingham he should also be congratulated on winning a silver award in the SNFC this year

Heeps bros won kelso yb trophy

Scott Morrison collected trophy for Appleby yb in his first year flying with the club.

Colin smith collected trophies for SNFC Ypres, SNFC yb national, SCC Ypres,

Best average 2 SCC races.

Many thanks to all who attended from near and far and to Bruce and Joe for another good night, also all who donated and bought pigeons the club is grateful for the support it receives for this night.
