This week the race from Battle on the 7th of July was liberated in a Northerly wind. Topping the Combine and the Central Section is Alan Stone & Son of Hull on 1135  Topping the South Section is John Wadsworth of Holderness on 1110. Topping the North Section is Alan Richardson of Whitby on 1107. Topping the West Section is S. Taylor of Norton on 1088. Well done to everyone

 

Central Section:

 

Hull Millennium Club. 7 members sent 80 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to Alan Stone & Son on 1135 & 1107 with a pair of Soontjens from the Guinness factory. Second place went to K & H Green on 1130 with a Franz Walz gift bird off K. Walsh. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hall on 1109 with a gift bird off Foster & Bennett Gary Cox stock.

Cottingham Homing Society. 3 members sent 34 birds with the red card Second Third and Fourth and more all going to Kev Kingston & Family on 1120, 1101, 1070 & 1068 all with his family of Jan Ardens.

  

North Hull Club. 4 members sent 34 birds with the red card going to S. Siddle on 1125 with a Herman Ceuster x Soontjen out of Martyn Dawson x J. Smith. Second place went to S. Siddle on 1064 with a Wayne Browlee Hardy Kruger. Third place went to S. Siddle on 1063 with a Martyn Dawson x J. Smith M. Matheuws. Fourth place went again to S. Siddle on 1037 with a sister to the winner he also wins the £100 sponsor and Vic Walsh memorial Trophy.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 5 members sent 45 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1071 with a Van den Bosch x Jo Van Geel also 2 bird. Second place went to B. Rowson on 984 with a Davy Alport Soontjen cock. Third place went to B. Rowson on 966 with a hen out of his Black. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 936 with a Soontjen x Van den Bosch. Gold ring race liberated at 8.50 winner B. Rowson on 1102 with a leo Van Rijn x with Best Racer and wins £300. Second Franciosy & Bennett on 1100 with a Vandenabeele wins £200. Third P. Carmichael on 1098 with a Vandenabeele wins £100. Well done. 13 birds were timed in out of 16 entries in this race, a mention goes to P. Carmichael who sent five clocked all 5 birds in 10seconds.

Driffield Homing Society. 5 members sent 55 birds with the red card going to Ian Waggott & Grandson on 937 with a Bicko x Severe. Second place went to Ian Waggott & Grandson on 785 with a Foxwood lofts Geerincks x Jan Arden. Third place went to Colin Sedman on 759 with a Soontjen that was 4th last week. Fourth place went to C & K Pallant on 732 wth a Koppen from the late Doug Mills stock. A Welford sponsor won by C. Sedman and also the meat nom. IWaggott also won the Trophy for longest y.b. race.

Wawne Ferry Club. 6 members sent 48 birds with the red card going to Keith Gleeson on 1038 with a Rene Neuwelaert. Second place went to Anderson & Anderson on 1019 with Hardy Kruger gift bird off Gary Cox. Third place went to Anderson & Anderson on 986 with a Flor Engels. Fourth place went to A & K Hajduk on 983 with a Staf Van Reets.

Holderness Flying Club. members sent  birds with the red card Second and Third place went to John wadsworth on 1110, 1109 & 1095 all with 3 hens bred from his Paul & Helen stock. Fourth place went to Chris Syrett on 1088 with a Mark Gilbert Janssen x Jan Arden.

Hornsea & D. H. Society.  5 members sent 82 birds with the red card Second & Third places going to Phil & June Edmond on 1078 1055 & 1009. Fourth place going to Colin Cadwallender on 1005. 

Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 49 birds with the red card going to Rob Keelty on 920 with a self bred Pete Chapman bird. Second place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 914 with one of a French stray. Third place went to Alec & Margaret on 894 with one from old Ken Anderson stock. Scarborough Social Club. 4 members sent 37 birds with the red card & Third place going to Derek Howard Paddy Johnson & Roger Grundy on 1025 & 995 with their Keith Arklass pigeons. Second place went to ‘Andy Moon on 996 with a Ceuster out of Ken Skelton pigeons. Fourth place went to Andy Moon with one off Dave Thompson which had a 1st from  Sleaford.   

    

Whitby Premier Club. 3 members sent 63 birds with the red card going to Alan Richardson on 1107 with a hen sitting 10 days eggs. Second place went to S Mallinson & Son on 1047 self bred Frans de Coux cock flying to perch. Third place went to Alan Richardson on 1013 with a Louis Thijs cock. Fourth place went to S Mallinson & Son n 993 with hen bred by Roberts good friend Frans de Coux  flying to perch.

 

 

West Section 

Norton I. Flying Club. 6 members sent 99 birds with the red card & Third place going to S. Taylor n 1088 & 1022 with a Herman Ceuster. Second place went to Maurace Hodgson with a self bred off Rob Mallinson on 1064. Fourth place went to A. Freer on 1022 with one from his distance family.
