01/07/20; Our local Mid Cheshire Fed are still doing well with the latest race from Yeovil seeing 144 members from 19 clubs sending 3,117 birds. This is a drop of around 600 birds, but the weather forecast was not good, even so it looks like they had a good race.

The first race of the season saw Dickens & Wilkinson topping the fed, in this the third race Dad David Wilkinson tops the fed.

The testing on how many will be sent by how many will probably change this week when other organisations get under way. This is a case of instead of having one big fed worth competing in there could in all probability be two feds reducing that strong competition that we have seen in the first three weeks of the season. Pity because the bigger the competition the better the pigeons become.
