Rob Horton caps a brilliant day by taking 1st breeder buyer.

The 2018 fed breeder buyer race took place from Kingsdown; the birds were liberated at 09-10 into a SW wind.  Rob Horton had a day to remember, as well as taking 1st & 2nd fed in the federation special race, he also took 1st prize in the federation breeder buyer race with one of his own birds, a Lambrecht hen I believe? Rob will pick up £1000 plus the gold medal / coin. An excellent performance this, the hen doing 1703 ypm, a very creditable velocity in such a small convoy!!

Mr & Mrs K Haslam & Son of The Bulls Head were 2nd & 3rd, again with their own birds, winning a lovely sum of £1250.

Ray & Jean Lees & Miller were 4th with one bred by Jim Parker & Son, this will earn each loft £125 each. Total paid out £2500.
