Another good race for our ybs out of Tewksbury sees Clive Yates take the first five.
Saturday August 1st saw 10 clubs enter 1577 birds for the second race of the yb season from Tewksbury. The birds were liberated at 09-40 in a w.s.w. wind, and the good conditions provided another good race. Congratulations to Clive Yates flying out of the Nelson SR club, he took the first five in the fed. The first two going over the pad together on 1740.3 were a dark wf Wildie hen and a Cheq Wildie cock. They were followed by a Wildie x E.Bateman hen and a Wildie x Vandenabeele cock. The fifth timer was a Wildie x Golden Gaby, his sire has won a race in each of the last three seasons. These Wildies of Clive’s have been around for a long time, but by heck they have and are still winning out of turn.
