Cork Area News

Sennen Cove has always a funny race to the fanciers of cork the first birds always seem to do a decent velocity with the rest of the results being filled over the course of the day and in some instances the following morning the 2015 race was no different in this case as the national winning pigeon was timed in mallow by Martin Shiells and a big well done to him.

Thomas Crean

The first federation pigeon arrived to the Bishopstown loft of Dave Nagle. Dave who is no stranger to success previously being second IHUNFC from Talbenny timed his cheq hen at 12:42 to take 1st open 1st section cork federation 1st club Cork Southern and 2nd open 2nd south section INFC  so we hope it will be third time lucky for him shortly the hen is a Soontjen Busscheart cross.
