With the forecast at Boves for the weekend for poor weather it was good to see the forward thinking officials of the Lincolnshire federation put the welfare of the pigeons and members first by bringing forward the basketing time by 24 hours, resulting with the birds being liberated on the Friday at 10.35 into a north easterly wind.

Low and behold keeping up their fantastic run of success with hens were Peter and Carol Carmichael being 1st. club 1st. federation and possible 1st. combine vel. 1259 with a 2yo blue bar hen "Pea 44" bred by Dave Robinson the 'Flying Vet' off 'Alfies Boy' 3 1st. x full sister to Kevin Kingston's sect. E  MNFC. ace younbird 2013 all these are Carrera Vandenabeele. 'Pea 44' as a yearling had all races upto Arras were she finished 8th. club and 20th. fed. 517birds.

2nd. and 4th. club vel. 1201 and 1166 are another inform partnership Colby and Baker 1st. bird a 2yo Van Rijn chequer cock already 2 cards this year from Jamie Martindale stock,2nd. bird a 3yo cheq w/f cock from their famous 'Reggie'.
