YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE COMBINE NEWS

This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Huntingdon on the 13th of August was liberated in a West North West wind. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Gavin Leahy of Hornsea on 1452. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1367. Topping the North Section is Jess & Jen Hotham of Filey on 1364. Topping the West Section is Mick Burdett of Norton on 1246. Well done everyone. A Dutch bird (NL 12) has been picked up with a phone number which suggests it comes from the Scarborough area the rest is not readable this bird is a possible a stock bird. If you ring me I will give you the phone number of the member who has it in.

Coastal South Section:

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 6 members sent 163 birds with the red card and Second Third and Fourth places all going to Gavin Leahy on 1452, 1450, 1397 and 1387 all with his excellent family of Clive Lister Vinks.

Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 8 members sent 147 birds with the red card and Second place going to Shane Reading on 1452 and 1451 with a pair of Soontjen x Premier Stud Ceusters nest mates. Third place went to Derek Nicholls on 1448 with a Premier Stud Sablon. Fourth place went to  Derek Nicholls on 1448 with a Premier Stud Hardy Kruger.
