This week the race from Huntingdon on the 26TH of July was liberated in and Topping the Combine and the South Section are Paul & Helen Johnson of Hedon on 1710. Topping the North Section is Pete Thorpe & Dave Elvidge of Scarborough on 1627. Topping the Central Section is M. Szifer of Hull on 1672. Well done to everyone

Coastal South Section:

 

Holderness Flying Club. 9 members sent 108 birds with the red card and a clean sweep going to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1710 with a yearling Van de Maere cock. Second place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1675 with a yearling cock. Third place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1665 with a 2yr old well-bred Van Hoogland cock. Fourth place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1639 with a 2yr old Van de Maere x Sablon well done in club and national.

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 7 members sent 123 birds with the red card Second Third and Fourth places all going to Gavin Leahy with his multi scoring family of pigeons.

Flamborough Homing Society. 7 members sent 175 birds with the red card going to John & Linda Chadwick on 1687 with a self bred John Gerrard Mandelartz hen which scored as a youngster last year. Second place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1686 with a Van Dyck x Mandelartz hen also scored as a youngster.  Both hens have flown well this year. Third place went to John & Linda Chadwick again on 1686 with a multi prize winning Herman Cuester x Van Dyck cock. Fourth place went to Nathan Hoggard Stuart Linley Tony Ellis on 1686 with a Gaston van de Wouwer hen which was 2nd Combine last week from Battle & 4th Combine Battle on the first Battle.

  

Bridlington D.F.C. 5 members sent 55 birds with the red card going to Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles Colin Simpkin on 1673 with a 3yr old Stuart Knowles 3yr old Ceuster a multi winner won last week. Second place went to Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles Colin Simpkin on 1663 with a Stuart Knowles multi scoring Herman Ceuster. Third place went to Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles Colin Simpkin on 1646 with a Busschaert. Fourth place went to young lad Riley Wilkinson on 1628 with a Walter Dockx bred by his granddad Oliver.

Withernsea Homing Society. 4 members sent 61 birds with the red card going to Dave Beadle on 1655 with a Koopman x Vandenabeele bred by Gordon Burton and has now had 3 x 1st this year. Second place went to Dave Beadle on 1654 with a Herman Ceuster x Sablon. Third place went to Dave Beadle on 1654 with a Sablon x Derwa. Fourth place went yet again to Dave Beadle on 1652 with a Steve Turly Herman Ceuster x Sablon.

Coastal North Section:

Scarborough Social Club. 5 members sent 72 birds with the red card going to Pete Thorpe & Dave Elvidge on 1627 with a Herman Ceuster having its 3rd race as it got hawked. Second place went to Pete Thorpe & Dave Elvidge on 1626 with a multi prize winning Cawdon & Costello of Lincoln Sablon which has all ready had two seconds from Billericay this year. Third Place went to Pete Thorpe & Dave Elvidge on 1626 with a Herman Ceuster which has been hawked this year and has also had a 3rd Huntingdon. Fourth place went to Pete & Pat Chapman on 1617 with one of his Pobors.

 

Whitby Premier Club. 8 members sent 175 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son Rob on 1613 with a 2yr old Leo Heremans x Josef Goovarets cock which won Battle. Second place went to S. Mallinson & Son Rob on 1612 with a Louis Thijs cock which has had a 2nd Sleaford 5th Huntingdon. Third place went to Alan Richardson on 1609 with a Louis Thijs Herman Ceuster yearling hen. Fourth place went to Alan Richardson on 1609 with a Louis Thijs x RPRA yearling hen.

Central Section:

 

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 4 members sent 41 birds with the red card and 2nd place going to George Rudd on 1669 and 1636. Third place went to Bri Rowson on 1633.

Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1617 no details given.

 

Hull Millennium Club. 13 members sent 195 birds with the red card going to D. Rasul on 1669 with a Staff Van Reet x Dave Hobson Richard Crawford from Beadle scored before. Second place went to Alan Stone & Son on 1650 with a Soontjen from Ireland. Third place went to Ian Tuttle on 1641 with a Roland Janssen x Herman Ceuster which topped the Section from Battle. Fourth place went to Ian Tuttle on 1638 with a Herman Ceuster which was 3rd last week and 1st club Battle.

 

Cottingham Homing Society. 3 members sent 27 birds with the red card going to Alan Bettney & Plant on 1575.Second Third and Fourth places went to Mr & Mrs Driscell & Son on 1555 1541 1540.

 

Driffield Homing Society. 8 members sent 132 birds with the red card going to C & K. Pallant on 1583 with a Coppen off late Doug Mills stock. Second place went to C & K. Pallant on 1582 with a self bred K. Gladstone Herman Ceuster. Third place went to George Atkinson on 1562 with a Vandenabeele which was 2nd from one of the Battles. Fourth place went to C & K. Pallant on 1560 with a Lindelauf x Van Loon off K. Gladstone stock. A. Welford Sponsor was C & K Pallant, Mr & Mrs Brumby, G Atkinson 3rd & 4th.

 

North Hull Club. 3 members sent 39 birds with the red card going to Barry Kipling on 1601 with a Herman Ceuster which won last week as well. Second place went to Steve Siddle on 1597 with a Janssen that won last year. Third place went to Steve Siddle on 1543 with a Wayne Brownlee Hardy Kruger. Fourth place went again to Steve Siddle on 1539 with a Soontjen x Herman Ceuster. The Club would like to send their condolences to the Family of John Moss a member who had a special character and will be sadly missed.  

Kingston Flying Club. 5 members sent 63 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1670 with a self bred Gary Cox Hereman Ceuster which won last week. Second place went to Mark Taylor on 1624 with a self bred Gary Cox which was 2nd last week. Third place went to Mark Taylor on 1608 again with a Gary Cox blood lines. Fourth place went to Mark Taylor on 1606 with a Shane Redding Herman Ceuster.

Wawne Ferry Club. 7 members sent 103 birds with the red card going to M. Szifer on 1672 with a Koopman. Second and Fourth places went to Keith Gleeson on 1611 and 1610 with a pair of Rene Nauwelaerts. Third place went to A & K Hajduk on 1610 with a Herman Ceuster.
