Yorkshire Middle Route Combine News - 16-06-21

YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE COMBINE NEWS WITH SUE.

This week the race from Brighton on the 12th of June was liberated in a West North West wind and Topping the Combine and the South Section is Oliver & Shaun Wilkinson of Bridlington on 1288 Topping the Central Section is G & G Ringrose of Driffield on 1276. Topping the North Section is Alan Richardson of Whitby on 1267. Well done to everyone.

Coastal South Section:

Bridlington D.F.C. 4 members sent 51 birds with the red card going to Oliver & Shaun Wilkinson on 1288 with a 3yr old Janssen bred from brother Ralph in Leeds. Second place went to Riley Wilkinson on 1205 with a 5yr old Janssen bred from Uncle Ralph. Third place went to Oliver & Shaun Wilkinson on 1200 with a 4yr old Gaby Vandenabeele also bred by brother. Fourth place went to Oliver & Shaun Wilkinson on 1167 with a yearling bought from Lier Market Belgium.  

Holderness Flying Club. 7 members sent 100 birds with the red card going to hard working club & clock man Ken Lister on 1281 with a yearling Sablon x Hardy Kruger that originates from Premier Stud stock. Second place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1258 with a self bred 3yr old Stuart Ward Van de Maere cock. Third place went to

Martin Weaver on 1240 with a 2yr old Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1239 with a yearling Sablon x Van de Maere yearling hen. 

Flamborough Homing Society. 6 members sent 135 birds with the red card going to Harry Smith on 1280 with a Busschaert x Jan Arden which was 2nd club from Battle last year. Second place went to Ken Gray & Paul Atkin on 1269 with a 3yr old Herman Ceuster which was 2nd club last year from Battle and was 2nd Combine. Third place went to Nathan Hoggard Stuart Linley & Tony Ellis on 1267 with a Herman Ceuster widow hen. Fourth place went to Nathan Hoggard Stuart Linley & Tony Ellis on 1267 with a widow Vandenabeele hen.    

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 7 members sent 193 birds with the red card and second Third & Fourth places all going to Gavin Leahy on 1267 1254, 1251 and 1248 all with his Vandenabeeles.   

Withernsea Homing Society. 4 members sent 56 birds with the red card going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1271 with a Ken Anderson x their Hermans which is called Houdini. It has won cards as a young bird and this year. Second place went to Dean Adamson on 1219 with a pigeon that is first to the loft most weeks and has had 4x1sts. Third place went to Dean Adamson again on 1184 with a Herman Ceuster. Fourth place going to Chris Gray on 1183 no details.   

Coastal North Section:

Whitby Premier Club. 7 members sent 213 birds with the red card going to Alan Richardson on 1267 with a 2yr old Louis Thijs cock with a 1st Billericay 2nd & 3rd Battle and a 5th Huntingdon to its name. Second place went to Alan Richardson on 1267 with a 2yr old Louis Thijs hen x R P R A winning hen which has had a 4th Battle & 8th Huntingdon. Third place went to Alan Richardson on 1267 with a 2yr old Louis Thijs cock x Jelle Roziers hen has had a 3rd 5th & 8th Battle also a 7th & 8th Huntingdon. Fourth place went to Alan Richardson on 1264 with a 2yr old Louis Thijs x rpra winner yearling hen which was 6th Battle. S Mallinson & Son wins all the pools. 

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 119 birds with the red card and the next four places all going to Pete & Pat Chapman on 1241, 1226, 1223 & 1222 all with his family of Pobors which have scored before. This race was sponsored by Cod & Lobster West Pier with many thanks.      

Central Section:

 

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 7 members sent 120 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1274 with a Herman Ceuster hen. Second place went to Bri Rowson on 1266 with a cock off his Blacks. Third place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1263 with a Leo Herman x Vandenabeele which has had1 x 1st & 1 x 2nd Fourth place went to T. Boynton on 1244 with a hen that goes back to the old T.W.Procter & Sons.

Hull Millennium Club. 12 members sent 273 birds with the red card going to Alan Stone & Son on 1264 with one from the Guinness factory. Second place went to Alan Stone & Son on 1259 with one from R. Nicklin which has had a 1st & 2nd this season. Third place went to D. Robinson 1251 with one from J Petch which has had a 1st sec this year. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hall on 1246 with a Busschaert on the roundabout.

Cottingham Homing Society. 7 members sent 86 birds with the red card going to Colin Clark on 1233 Colin is the oldest member at 80 and always in the cards every week. This week his winner is a multi prize winning Busschaert x Janssen. Second place went to Jeff Donner on 1223 with one of his multi prize winning Meldeart cock. Third place went to Colin Clark on 1222 with a cock bred same as above and also wins the club nom. Fourth place went to Andy Cook on 1221 with one of his proven team of Geerinck cocks.

Second place went to Ken Gladstone on 1263 with a yearling hen that won Billericay and Battle. Third place went to Ken Gladstone on 1237 with a yearling Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to Steve Siddle on 1228 with a Wayne Brownlee Hardy Kruger.   

Kingston Flying Club. 6 members sent 106 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs King on 1266 with a Gary Cox x P. Russell Geerinck x Koopman which was 3rd last week. Second place went to Harry Wallace on 1260 with a self bred Mark Callons Hereman Ceuster lines. Third place went to Mark Taylor on 1234 with a self bred G. Cox Herman Ceuster which has won before. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs King on 1229 with one same way as the winner.
