Both the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation and the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation put their races back twenty four hours on the weekend Saturday September 8th due to the bad weather forecast.
The Burton & South Derbyshire Federation got theirs away Sunday morning 9th September at 10-50 in a light south wind .
Taking the red card in Osmaston Park Homing Society with a Cheq pied hen doing 1795 was Dave Waddington. Taking the next three positions with two Cheq hens doing 1766,1765 and a ch/w/f/ cock doing 1764 was Glew & O'Donnell.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club Mr & Mrs K.Haslam & Son made it a clean sweep with a blue cock and a grizzle cock both doing 1793 to take first & second followed by two more blue cocks doing 1779 & 1763 taking third & fourth. Mr & Mrs K.Haslam & Son would like to thank Brian Alexandra of Birmingham for the pigeons they purchased from him enabling them to have a good young bird season. ( Thanks Again ).

In Etwall & District Flying Club Dave Williams & Son took top spot with a b/w/f hen doing 1747 taking the red card. In second & third was Steve Billings with a blue hen and a blue cock doing 1739 & 1721 followed by A.Peach in fourth with a blue cock doing 1717.

The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation got theirs away at 09-45 in a south west wind.
In Derby Premier Paul & Lynda Todd made it a clean sweep with a blue hen doing 1759.6 taking the red card followed by a b/w/f cock doing 1759.2 then a white hen doing 1692 then a blue cock doing 1691.

In Kilburn Welfare taking the red card with a slatey hen doing 1698.4 was Keith Foulke followed by R.Parkin & Hall with a blue cock doing 1698.2 to take second. In third & fourth with two blue hens doing 1696 & 1665 was Keith Cresswell.
