Sunday June 10th and Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Carentan for the second of their federation special races and were liberated at 12-30 in a light north east wind after a one day holdover.Congratulations to T & H Garner & Morton, Park on topping the fed and north section were with a two year old cock doing 1202.6 the only pigeon doing over 1200 ypm,their second pigeon doing 1143 to take 6th fed.In second position with a yearling cheq pied cock doing 1181.1 was Poolsbrook members Jepson & Bennett.Third position went to Woodhouse members A & C Wheldon with a three year old blue cock doing 1176.7.In fourth and topping the south section was Kilburn member K.Cresswell with a two year old blue cock doing 1152.6.Fifth position went to Mr & Mrs A Jackson Woodhouse with a three year old cheq hen doing 1143.5.Carder & Denton Woodhouse were seventh with a yearling blue hen doing 1135.6 followed by J.Barker Storey Arms in eighth with a two year old blue hen doing 1124.3.with Woodhouse members D & A Cundy in ninth with a five year old cheq hen doing 1114.4 and B & C Brelsford & Son in tenth doing 1114.1.
