Sunday August 21st and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Frome with the pigeons being liberated at 14-00 in a brisk west wind.
Taking the red card in Osmaston Park Homing Society for the second week in succession and getting the first pigeon into Derby with a cheq hen doing 1718 was S & H W Hall.Their second pigeon which was a b/pied hen doing 1664 took third position.In second position with a blue hen doing 1693 was Mick Stone with Hall & Troy in fourth with a cheq pied cock doing 1659.
In Etwall & District Flying Club Alan & Liz Houldsworth get the winner with a dark hen doing 1680 with last weeks winners Tony & June Whitehurst taking the next three positions.Their first pigeon was a mealy cock
( last weeks winner ) doing 1677 followed by a blue cock doing 1668.5 then a cheq cock doing 1668.3 to take fourth.
In Derby South Road Flying Club L.D.S. Johnson took the first three positions with a blue hen doing 1603 to take the red card followed by another blue hen doing 1572 then a b/w/f hen doing 1543.In fourth position was Mr & Mrs Noel Wylie with a blue cock doing 1530.

The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Salisbury and the pigeons were liberated at 12-00 in a brisk west wind.
In Derby Premier making a clean sweep was L.D.S. Johnson.Taking the red card was a mealy cock doing 1528 followed by a red cock doing 1467 then two blue hens doing 1451 & 1413.
