Saturday June 29th 2013 and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Kingsdown and the pigeons were liberated at 09-15 in a north west wind.

In Derby South Road Flying Club taking three of the first four positions was the Spondon loft of Farrar & Peters doing 1434, 1408 & 1393. Their winner was a two year old blue cock with second position going to a two year old cheq cock followed by a four year old blue hen. In third position was John & Steve Hicks with a five year old blue cock doing 1394. In their five bird section Roy Gregory & Son take three of the first four positions doing 1372, 1357.9 & 1357.2 with John & Steve in second position doing 1364.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club R & M Duffield take the red card doing 1422 with a yearling cheq cock. In second position was K & G Johnson with a two year old cheq cock doing 1398. Mr & Mrs John Dowd take third position doing 1396.9 with a two year old blue hen followed by Rick Shelton doing 1396.2 with a two year old blue cock.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society getting the winner with a three year old blue cock doing 1403 was the Little Eaton loft of Mick Fearn. In second position was Mick Willis & Family doing 1399 with a two year old blue cock. Third position went to secretary Steve Stone doing 1396 with a two year old grizzle cock followed by Mick Stone in fourth position with a two year old blue cock doing 1395.

In Etwall & District Flying Club Dave Williams takes top spot also third & fourth positions doing 1400, 1375 & 1373. Their winner was a yearling ch/wf cock. Their second pigeon was a three year old blue cock both sitting and their third pigeon was a yearling blue cock feeding a youngster. Second position went to Paul Williams with a blue cock doing 1384.

Derby Premier were at Marlborough and were liberated at 10-00 in a north west wind. Taking the red card was the Mackworth loft of Roy Gregory & Son doing 1365 with a two year old cheq hen. The next three positions went to the Oakwood loft of Mr & Mrs Paul Todd doing 1356, 1353 & 1342. Their first pigeon was a two year old blue cock (last week's winner), their second pigeon was a yearling mealy cock followed by a two year old b/w/f cock.
