BICC INTERNATIONAL RACING INTO IRELAND.
To clock in race time is the modern dream of the few who wish to specialise in this onerous and very, very difficult task. Advanced and sophisticated ,practical management is required to execute this very demanding function of man and bird. I would opt for 3year old birds, that have race experience as ybs up to say 200miles, 350 miles as yearlings,500 miles as 2 yr olds before International at 3. Rare birds only will pull off this feat over the 2 stretches of water into Ireland. Not impossible ,birds in great muscle condition may, and perhaps will be sent by dreamers, optimists and men of hope. Large teams of marathon bred birds, deep pockets and large, ambitious egos will be essential. As in all marathon races, great condition and time on the wing experience are essential. For more details please read my books and watch the DVD. The best of good fortune to Ireland, as it is a noble goal you seek-
