LETTER FOR BHW FROM JIM EMERTON.

Northern Expansion of the BICC becomes a reality; For many years I have worked to see opportunities for fanciers from the North to compete up to International level with the cream of Europe. My vision is turning into practical reality with the inception of the Eclipse the 650 Pigeon Racing Club, to which I am donating The Jim Emerton Best Performance Trophy to the value of 1000 pounds. The essence in all these human efforts is the sending of marathon pigeons to The Barcelona International Race. In race reality this prospect will continue to test out the wisest men and the best racing pigeons. Happy flying to all participants-be lucky

LETTER FOR THE RP FROM JIM EMERTON.

International racing into the UK @ Ireland.; It was 1995 when I clocked Barcelona Dream at 879 miles to Holtby. Since that time my belief in the benefits of International, organised pigeon races has grown, with passion and time. I am tickled pink with the Northern expansion mode of The BICC, and the pioneers of Eclipse the 650 Racing Pigeon Club, which you will see and hear great things of. I hope to donate The Jim Emerton Best Performance Trophy in support of the fanciers and the wonderful birds that will become icons of true distance and marathon racing, and for the whole racing world to appreciate their significance-be lucky

Jim Emerton/Mensa.

LETTER TO THE RP FROM JIM EMERTON.

Radicalisation of the sport: Evolution of our pigeon racing is now in the fusion of the BICC AND Eclipse clubs, where men of distinction will realise their dreams with some champion distance/marathon pigeons and some over 800 miles in International events. The sport, and consciousness of it is going to change forever, thanks to the initiative and foresight of the modern pioneers of pigeon racing. In my mind’s eye a love of the sport will never die, as long as birds can fly-

LETTER FOR BHW PLEASE FROM JIM EMERTON

The nature of British Pigeon Racing is changing for all to see: The synthesis and unity between the BICC and Eclipse is to radicalise the sport, with a huge drive and impetus towards distance and marathon racing of the highest order. It gives unprecedented opportunities to people from the North to secure fame, glory and self-satisfaction with marathon birds of exemplary quality. Race reality will reveal the truth in the cauldron of serious competition, and in the final analysis the proof lies in sending your birds to the races-be lucky

Jim Emerton.
