How I Would Race Barcelona International Into Ireland

As tough as it seems the job can be done and will be in time. Prepare a big team of yearlings e.g. 50 at around the 350 mile mark-if you can get them that far. I would aim to fly open loft with 7 to 800 mile blood and on my unique feeding system. Any survivors would be targeted at a 500 mile race, then any remnants sent to Barcelona with the BICC at 3 years of age. The man would need to focus on the one race and make his dream a living reality. Now this is a very serious racing proposition for a world class fancier and pigeon and you will become a living legend. French racing is hard enough, yet the right bird will have up to 10 days or so to do it in race time. I would love to see some races over 500 miles into Ireland to set the tone for the future. This is racing for optimists with high hopes and aspirations. Rare individuals who seek global greatness or quiet self satisfaction will attempt the near impossible in modern times. I want to have a go with my partner in Ireland. The dawning of race reality will prove the case. At the moment fanciers are at the dreaming and talking stage-practice will follow.

My Pigeon Racing In 2017

All being well, I have many silent and actual racing partners of my strain for active interest. The great Nicholas Harvey hopes to time again from Barcelona Int. with the Musgrove pigeons. Alan Kelly and I will attempt France into Ireland with all our yearlings. Booth and Shipley are experimenting with Saintes and Tarbes in the NFC-having sourced most of the stock it will all be interesting. Craig Wilkinson has 22 stock birds and is aiming to tackle Barcelona. I am looking at progress with Ghenty/Jim Donaldson/Richard Scott and various people in the UK and Ireland. I must emphasise that my interests are all pure racing/personality and strain building and I take NO MONEY for my mentoring or books for myself. I am looking for a great racing man to emerge from my efforts at leadership and champion pigeons at the distance.
