Lanarkshire Combine Winners 2018 17-10-18

Lanarkshire’s Combine winners and top lofts of 2018

This season like most brings the cream to the top in the challenge to be Lanarkshire’s top loft. The Lanarkshire programme  takes in nineteen scheduled races from 50 miles to 450 miles. The Lanarkshire birdage total 59,500 for the Champion loft of the season.

This year’s winners for another record breaking season is the brilliant GWP Macaloney of Airdrie who go from strength to strength, putting in performance that are world class!

Their check cock Denman is without doubt one of our finest pigeons, in the country, in a ten week. What he has achieved is breath taking!, he represents exactly what they stand for, breeding pigeons that can perform at every distance in a very demanding  program. He has the  speed for the shorter races and stamina to still win at 450 miles across the channel. What a pigeon !

Paul Macaloney said, we would like to take the time to thank the Federation committee, controllers and the new transport team for their hard work a dedication, in what is a thankless job in a hard era for pigeon racing, where mistakes are unavoidable, this year there was very few.

We would also like to acknowledge the runners up in the Fed Championship, J Green & Son, who went toe to toe every race with us I'm sure there is plenty to come from this partnership in the Future.
