We move into a distance over 250 miles for the club and with to races on the same weekend in June it gave some time to test their birds against federation and National competition. Like most weeks of the season that east wind was around which plays havoc with the pigeons navigation. When you think of it has there been a season when you have seen it hang in there so long.

It was a top weekend for Dave Allison of Burnbank who won the race and also put the icing on the cake by winning the section in the SNFC.
This is a remarkable achievement as that is back to back wins after winning the section in last season?s longest race.
Dave is really making his mark at National racing into Lanarkshire area.

The other winners that weekend were the Lanarkshire Federation Champion loft of McCormick & Hughes of Viewpark.
These guys are up with the best fanciers you are every likely to meet with a small loft set up.

Well done to both lofts on their performances.
