Arkadiusz & Miroslav are currently offering birds for sale on the Elimar auctions. They have submitted the following article, which may be of interest to potential purchasers of their stock.

In 2011 father and son bought the first top pigeons from the best lofts of Europe. They were pigeons for long distance from Family Freialdenhofen who play fantastic results in races 600-1200km. They won only in 2012 from only 2 races: 1 INT PAU and 1 and 2 prize NAT Bordeaux yearlings. On 2013 they won 3x1 NAT! Our methods for racing season are very easy.

The Pigeon Treatment

In the loft of Father & Son Maziarz they use  lots of natural products, for example herbs from Roehnfried or garlic for the pigeons, pigeon tea etc. The medical treatment they do with Dr Peeters. Food comes from SPINNE and Beyers.

Arek says: "Our racing pigeons fly with the widowers-system. I race with cocks and hens. We train our pigeon 2 x per day and we make one time per week private training from 50km until 300km races. The partners were not shown before basketing. Our racing season is mixed of 14 races: 2x150 5x311km 4x550km and 3x750km. All our pigeons fly 14 races even yearlings.

My youngsters are prepared normally for racing season. We use VERSELE LAGA food for them. They get vitamins and grit. We vaccinate youngsters against paramyxovirus, salmonella, herpes virus and small-pox. They train around the home 1 x days. After ending of the old pigeon season they are training 2 x day. We make a couple of private training flights before the start of the season from 20-50km.

Races for youngsters in Poland are short (100-300km) because weather in September when the season start is very difficult. In Poland are temperature 10-40 °C and very often it is cloudy, foggy and rainy as we live in the mountains.

I live in mountains and the pigeons have to have a very tough life. We have lots of hawks. The races aren’t postpone and our pigeons have to fly in every weather conditions."
