This week the race from Huntingdon on the 17th of August was liberated in a strong South South West wind. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles & Colin Simpkin of Bridlington on 1649. Topping the North Section is Derek Howard Paddy Johnson & Roger Grundy of  Scarborough on 1618. Topping the Central Section is Mr & Mrs King of Hull on 1613. Topping the West Section is Maurace Hodgson of Norton on 1512. Well done to everyone

 

Coastal South Section:

 

Flamborough Homing Society. 9 members sent 223 birds with the red card and Second places going to Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles & Colin Simpkin on 1649 & 1649. Third and Fourth place went to Nathan Hoggard Stuart Linley & Tony Ellis on 1647 & 1645. 

 

Bridlington D.F.C. 6 members sent 36 birds with the red card going to Harry Smith on 1587 with a self bred from his family of birds. Second place went to Joe Emms on 1580 with a Vander Espt off Nigel Llewellyn of Southampton. Third place went to Mr & Mrs O Wilkinson on 1580 with a Dirk van Dyke x Koopman Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs O Wilkinson on 1475with a Janssen bred from brother Ralph from Leeds.

Holderness Flying Club. 8 members sent 121 birds with the red card going to Colin Bolton on 1573 with a Lindelauf x Hofkens hen. Second place went to Ken Lister on 1526 with a Premier Stud Hardy Kruger Third and Fourth place went to Chris Syrett on 1477 and 1475 with a pair of Janssens.

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 3 members sent 96 birds with the red card & Second place going to Colin Cadwallender on 1586 & 1583. Third and Fourth place went to Barry Blenkinsop on 1538 & 1509.

Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 70 birds with the red card and Third place going to R. Keelty on 1483 & 1188 with a pair of Pete Chapman lines. Second place went to Dave Beadle on 1313 with a Gaston Van de Wouwer x Derwa. Fourth place went to Trevor Robinson on 1155 with a self bred Jan Arden.

Scarborough Social Club. 4 members sent 50 birds with the red card going to Derek Howard Paddy Johnson & Roger Grundy on 1618 with a Keith Arkless pigeon.  Second place went to Dave Pickering on 1572 with a Tony Robson Marina Vander Velde. Third Place went to Dave Pickering on 1570 with a Marina Vander Velde hen that won the first race from Sleaford. Fourth place went to Keith Todd on 1532 with a Staf Van Reet.  

   

Whitby Premier Club. 3 members sent 71 birds with the red card Third and Fourth places going to S. Mallinson & Son on 1616 1616 1616 with three off Robs good friend Frans de Coux flying to the perch Second place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1616 with a Leo Heremans x Louis Thijs  hen flown to perch.

 

  

Central Section:

 

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 6 members sent 72 birds with the red card and Third place going to Bri Rowson on 1545 & 1485 with a pair of Koopmans x Blacks. Second place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1495 with a Herman Ceuster x Derwa. Fourth place went to Bri Rowson again on 1462 with a Leo Van Rijn cock dam won Bourge.

Hull Millennium Club. 8 members sent 235 birds with the red card going to M. Taylor on 1608 with a Gary Cox Geerinck Humberside trophy winner. Second place went to John & Jackie Hall on 1607 with a John Hill Busschaert which was 3rd at Sleaford. Third place went to John & Jackie Hall on 1606 with a Wayne Brownlee Sablon. Fourth place went again to John & Jackie Hall on 1606 with a John Hill Busschaert x Vic Moody.

Cottingham Homing Society. 5 members sent 113 birds with the red card going to Kev Kingston & Family on 1572 with a half brother and sister pairing out of his Duracell. Second Third and Fourth places on 1570, 1559 & 1523 all went to Kev Kingston & Family all with his Jan Arden stock.

Kingston Flying Club. 2 members sent 53 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Lenny King on 1613 with a Coreman x Koopman. Second and Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs King on 1600 & 1561 with a pair of Cormans. Third place went to H. Wallace on 1566 with a Soontjen.

Second place went to G & G Ringrose on 1490 with a Frans De Coux x Louis Thijs. Third place went to G. W. Acey on 1469 with a Jos Thorne x Hofken. Fourth place went again to G & G Ringrose on 1455 with a Mr & Mrs Chadwick Albert Derwa.

Third place went to Paul Jones on 1561 with a Shane Reading Herman Ceuster. Fourth place went again to D. Sultan on 1561 with a Alan Stone Soontjen.

  

Nafferton Flying Club. 3 members sent 61 birds with the red card and Second Third and Fourth places all going to Junior member Oliver Shaw on 1595, 1594 1553 & 1516.  

 

Wawne Ferry Club. 6 members sent 133 birds with the red card going to A & K Hajduk on 1575 with a Gaby Vandenabeele. Second Third & Fourth places went to Jim Lowther & Son on 1572 1555 & 1548 all with his Busschaert family.

Norton I. Flying Club. 8 members sent 112 birds with the red card and Second place  going to Maurace Hodgson on 1512 & 1511 with S. Mallinson & Sons pigeons. Third place went to Howard Jackson on 1507 with a De Khaki x Wildemeersch. Fourth place went to S. Jefferys on 1451 no details.
