YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE COMBINE NEWS

This week the race from Peterborough on the 29th of June were liberated in a variable wind. Topping the Combine and the West Section is George Atkinson of Cottingham club on 1864. Topping the South Section is Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles Colin Simpkin of Bridlington on 1844. Topping the Central Section is Kev Kingston & Family of Hull on 1843. Topping the North Section is S. Mallinson & Son of Whitby on 1802 Well done to everyone

 

Central Section:

 

Cottingham Homing Society. 6 members sent 49 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to George Atkinson on 1864 & 1748 with a pair of Vandenabeele cock. Second place went to Kev Kingston & Family on 1843 with a D. Robinson hen sitting a small youngster. Third place went to T. Walker on 1760 with a Vandenabeele.

Driffield Homing Society. 7 members sent 117 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Brumby on 1807 with a yearling Frans Zole taking its first card. Second place went to Geoff Acey on 1785 with a self bred John Redfern x Nigel Laycock Louis Thijs x Vandenabeele. Third place went to Ian Waggot & Grandson on 1777 with a self bred Vandenabeele taking its 2nd card was 4th from Arras. North Hull Club. 6 members sent 32 birds with the red card and Second places going to Pete & Angie Burke on 1712 & 1692 with their multi card winning Van Reets. Third place went to S. Siddle on 1679 with a Dave Palmer gift bird which is the same pigeon as last week. Fourth place went to S. Siddle on 1674 with a gift bird off Martin Dawson.  

 

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 5 members sent 43 birds with the red card going to Williams Bros on 1732 with a Dave Thompson Malderhart. Second place went to Bri Rowson on 1726 with a hen which has won Bourge & Arras 2018 Black x F/B bird. Third place went to Franciosy Bennett 1712 with a Coopman x Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to Bri Rowson on 1682 with a Davey Allport Soontjen hen.

 

Hull Millennium Club. 8 members sent 143 birds with the red card going to K & H Green 1812 with gift bird off K & S Marritt which has 4 x 1st to its name and also wins all pools. Second place went to K & H Green on 1811 with a gift bird off Brian Thornton. Third place went to John Hall on 1796 with a broken off gift bird from Pete Dixon. Fourth place went to I Tuttle on 1791 with a Herman Ceuster x Roland Janssen.  

 

Nafferton Flying Club. 3 members sent 32 birds with the first three places going to John Raines on 1759, 1751 1737. Fourth place went to Oliver Shaw on 1712. 

Kingston Flying Club. 3 members sent 59 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Lenny King on 1813 with a Limburg & Cooreman a previous winner. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Lenny King on 1770 with a Cooreman a previous winner. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Lenny King on 1769 with a Vandenabeele through Barry Scarah blood lines. Fourth place went again to Mr & Mrs Lenny King on 1769 with a Cooreman.

 

Wawne Ferry Club. 7 members sent 75 birds with the First three places going to Keith Gleeson on 1834, 1771, 1771 with his Rene Nauwelaerts. Fourth place went to A & K Hajduk on 1738 with a Gaby Vandenabeele.

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 84 birds with the red card and the next three positions all going to Pete & Pat Chapman on 1757, 1752, 1743 & 1741 all with his multi scoring Pabor pigeons.       

 

Whitby Premier Club. 6 members sent 127 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son on 1802 with a Patrick de Meutter 3yr old cock taking its 5 x 1st    and has also had 2 x 2nds 2 x 3rd 2 x 4th 2 x 5th 1 x 6th 2 x 7th 3 x 8th. Second place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1802 with a 3yr old cock bred by Robs good friend Frans de Coux which has had 2 x 2nd 1 x 6th 1 x 8th Third place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1790 with a 2yr old Gert Heylen x Louis Thijs cock which has had 2 x 2nds 1 x 3rd 1 x 4th 1 x 5th Fourth place went to J. Noble & Son on 1782 J Noble & Son Mark & Son Kieran with a yearling Roundabout Leo Heremans also winning all the pools.

 

 

 

Coastal South Section:

 

Flamborough Homing Society. 10 members sent 179 birds with the red card going to Kerry Mellonby Stuart Knowles Colin Simpkin on 1844. Second & Third place went to Harry Smith on 1839 & 1827. Fourth place went to John Crosier on 1824.

 

Bridlington D.F.C. 8 members sent 76 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs O Wilkinson on 1776 with a Gaby Vandenabeele. Second place went to Joe Emms with a Roy Austin Janssen. Third place went to O & Z Wilkinson with a Janssen. Fourth place went to Joe Emms with a Janssen.

 

Holderness Flying Club. 8 members sent 86 birds with the red card going to Colin Bolton on 1857 with one of his Hofkens x Lindelaufs. Second place went to Martin Weaver on 1751 Third & Fourth places went to Chris Salter on 1745 & 1745.   

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 7 members sent 118 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to Mr & Mrs Edmond. Second & Third place went to Mr & Mrs R & S Ashcroft. 

 

Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 76 birds with the red card going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1763. Second and Third Places went to Dean Adamson on 1748 & 1668. Fourth place went to Dave Beadle on 1607.  

 

 West Section 

 

Norton I. Flying Club. 7 members sent 101 birds with the red card going to S. Taylor on 1799 with a Geerincks that was 2nd last week from Battle. Second place went to Howard Jackson on 1797 with a self bred multi card winning JPS Lofts x S. Price Lambrecht x Herman Ceuster. Third place went to Alan Gill on 1795 with a Foxwood lofts Geerincks. Fourth place went to M. Hodgson on 1784 with his Mallinsons of Whitby pigeons.
