In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club taking the red card with a blue hen doing 1747 was John & Pamela Dowd this was followed by a cheq cock doing 1734 to take fourth.

In second & third was Mr & Mrs K Haslam & Son doing 1739 with a blue cock and 1737 with a cheq hen.
.Having another excellent day after topping the fed last week was the Shardlow loft of Tony & June Whitehurst taking the first three positions in Etwall & District Flying Club. Their winner was a mealy cock winning for the second week in succession doing 1704.1,followed by a blue hen doing 1702.7,then a blue cock doing 1701 to take third. In fourth position was J.S.Phillips doing 1684 with a blue cock.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society Mick Stone gets the red card with a cheq hen doing 1698 with Dave Waddington in second & third with a blue cock doing 1683 followed by a cheq cock doing 1681.In fourth was Steve Stone doing 1677 with a pencil cock.
Kilburn Welfare were at Marlborough with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation but due to the low cloud and poor visibility at the race point the pigeons were bought
back to Windrush and liberated at 12-20 in a west south west wind. Taking the red card with a blue cock doing 1610 was Keith Cresswell followed by Stuart Wainwright in second & third with a blue cock doing 1561 followed by a cheq hen doing 1523 with Keith Foulke in fourth with blue cock doing 1481.
Taking three of the first four positions in Derby Premier were Paul & Lynda Todd. Their winner was a mealy cock doing 1548 followed by a blue cock and a blue hen both doing 1514.In second was Simon Woolley with a blue cock doing 1524.
