Saturday June 16th and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Yeovil. The pigeons were liberated at 11-45 in a south wind. In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club John & Pamela Dowd get a clear winner with a four year old Cheq cock taking the red card doing 1984.They also took fourth with a yearling blue cock doing 1877.In second position was Roger & Mark Duffield doing 1953 with a yearling blue hen followed by F &T Salt Brothers & Son in third with a three year old blue cock doing 1927.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society it turned out to be a two loft race with Mick Fearn taking the red card with a two year old Cheq cock doing 1943 followed by a three year old blue cock doing 1845 to take third. In second & fourth was Jake Harcup with a two year old Cheq cock doing 1890 followed by a three year old red Cheq cock doing 1811.

In Etwall & District Flying Club Dave Williams & Son take the red card with a six year old blue cock doing 1867 followed by Neil Croft in second with a three year old Cheq cock doing 1853.In third was Alan & Liz Houldsworth with a yearling blue hen doing 1851 with Tony & June Whitehurst in fourth doing 1807 with a two year old blue cock.

In the Brackens South Road Flying Club Brailsford & Doyle took top spot with a yearling mealy pied hen doing 1364 followed by Jason & Karen Phillips in second & third with a yearling pied hen doing 656.7 and a yearling Cheq hen doing 656.2.

Derby Premier were at Salisbury with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation and the pigeons were liberated at 08-00 in a south west wind. Making a clean sweep was Paul & Lynda Todd. Their winner was a yearling red Cheq cock doing 1764 which was purchased of Steve Foster as a youngster. Their second pigeon was a yearling Cheq pied cock doing 1755 followed by a yearling blue cock doing 1753 then a two year old blue hen doing 1736.

In Kilburn Welfare Stuart Wainwright took top spot with a yearling grizzle cock doing 1711.7 followed by a yearling pied cock doing 1659 to take fourth. In second was Keith Foulke with a two year old blue hen doing 1711.6 with Keith Cresswell in third doing 1663 with a yearling.
