Warwickshire & District Federation - 03-06-23

Warwickshire & District Federation

Whitley Bay (4131) race flown on 27 May 2023 42 members sent 584 birds Liberated at 08:30 hours in a moderate southwest wind by Paul Bakewell. What great weather we had for the birds it was great to get an early lib as we were hoping the mist didn’t sit in the bay and hold us back too long.

Onto the race report we had a low send due to fanciers experiencing some losses over the past few weeks with the majority of the birds completing being turned from south to north road racing but as the saying goes things can only get better and the Federation look forward to this weeks racing being the first Amalgamation race from Hexham with the New North Road Amalgamation and also having a drop back race at Wakefield so hopefully this will give members a chance to put birds back in that may have made a mistake in previous races fingers crossed for full returns and a great Amal race.
