2019 Season about to commence

Let me start by wishing all readers a very Happy New Year and I hope you had a good Christmas .The 2019 season is just around the corner and already many will have the 2019 crop of Ybs underway . The Combine’s new season commences on January 12th with the AGM which is being held once again in the War Memorial Hall Crossgar, starting at 2pm sharp and by now all members should have received their copy of the Agenda and I would encourage everyone to attend as this is your opportunity to have a say in the 2019 race programme etc.

In addition to the usual items of business with the various reports and election of officers there are a number of proposals which members should give some thought to and these include a proposal for 3 comeback races during the season, one for Old birds and two for young birds to be held on Wednesdays from Tullamore . Then there are the proposals for the 2019 race programmes some of which would include new race points for the EDC if successful, so why not come along and have your say .

Ballylesson Show results

The Ballylesson Club held shows on the 15th Dec 2018 and 29th Dec 2018 and the weather on the 15th was absolutely atrocious and the club extends a huge thanks to judges Colin Watson, Tony Smith, Herbie McVeigh and Patsy Rice for travelling up to Ballylesson in such terrible weather and the results were:
