Tyrella Club Prize Night

Eileen Shields of the Tyrella club has kept me advised throughout the season of the club winners and has supplied a number of photos of the club's Annual dinner and prize distribution held recently in the Castle Inn, Ballynoe, Downpatrick. Sean Milligan and dtr Jennifer were major winners and I am sure they and their fellow club members will long remember their outstanding performance this year in the INFC King’s Cup from St. Allouestre when they were 13th Open 12th North section and also their performance from the INFC Yearling National when they were 16th Open. Other members who enjoyed a good racing season in 2013 were S & E McGaw, D McNabb & ptnrs and C McManus & dtr. Thanks for the photos Eileen.

Portavogie Club Prize Night

The club are holding a Moot in their clubrooms in Portavogie on December 20th 2013. The evening commences at 8pm and the cost, which includes supper, is £6 per person and with a panel of well known fanciers this promises to be a good evening.

Bangor Open Chritsmas Show

Will be held also in the Portavogie clubrooms on the afternoon of Saturday December 28th 2013, entry price £1 per bird. Full details next week.

EDC Combine & Prize Night photos

As promised I am returning to the very successful EDC Dinner/Prize Night with photos of the other prize winners and these I am forwarding as a photo page for this week's edition.

Finally don’t forget the INFC Charity show on December 14th in the Lisburn Leisure Centre. Details of which have been widely advertised and it is good to see that the birds will once again be in the pens this year after an absence of several years and these along with the auction of gift birds and the trade stands should make for a good day out.
