Gordons take top nine from Tullamore

The East Down Combine?s 4th Young Bird race was from Tullamore, Co.Offaly flown on Saturday the 5th August and with a light Westerly wind was once again a fast event and with the birds liberated at 8.30am they were home well before lunchtime . The leading open placings were dominated by Gordon Bros & sons racing with both the Cloughey and Killyleagh Central clubs the partnership had the top 9 Open and East section positions with 2 ypm between all 9 birds and had a further 6 birds in the Open positions.

Bob Connolly of Downpatrick Premier was 10th open and section .
Top 4 in the West Section were to McCartan & Woodsides of Crossgar followed by 14 Dundonald pigeons the full result for open & section being:
