Colour Classes at Ballylesson Show

Saturday November 25th will see the Ballylesson Club run an Open show for all EDC members to be held in their clubrooms and this is a show with a difference for although there are 6 classes they are not your usual classes and are as follows ;

ANY AGE COCK OR HEN THROUGH THE WIRES AND HANDLED -RED OR MEALY

ANY AGE COCK OR HEN THROUGH THE WIRES AND HANDLED -ASH, DUN, GRIZZLE OR YELLOW

ANY AGE COCK OR HEN THROUGH THE WIRES AND HANDLED -PIED

This should make for an interesting afternoon with penning from 12noon to 1.30 pm and judging starting at 2pm .The cost is £1 per bird and there will be refreshments available .

The Ballylesson club address is 57 Upper Mealough Road, Carryduff ,but entry is restricted to East Down Combine Members . Should be a good event.

Musgrave Park Brain Injury Unit receive donation of £3,828

Robert and June Kirkwood would like to take this opportunity to thank all those pigeon fanciers who attended and purchased birds at the Charity pigeon Sale which they held some time ago and also those who made donations . The proceeds of this sale went to the above unit and the amount raised was £3,828.which was presented to Sister Malone from the Brain Injury unit .

Robert & June would also like to express their thanks to Wesley Sawyers for Auctioning the birds and to the Royal British Legion (Banbridge ) for the use of their premises and thanks is also extended to all those who assisted in anyway .
