Trimble & Grandson top Open from Bude & Mallow
The 11th of July saw the EDC holding two more races the Derek Wishart Classic from Mallow and the cross channel race from Bude and what a great days racing from the Annalong partnership of John Trimble and grandson Zac who were 1st open from Bude as well as a further 6 birds in the open result and then look to have the top 3 from the Mallow Classic (further details to follow) From Bude the birds were liberated at 7am into a light Northerly wind which led to a steady race with the top three in the open breaking the 1200ypm mark .
2nd Open was also to the Annalong club to the Rooney family and then it was up to Ballylesson for 3rd open and the first bird in the West section to John Kirk & Sons .The top six was completed by B Hogg& sons at 4th Open ,John Trimble and Zac whose second bird was 5th open and 6th Open was to Belmont’s B. Anderson .
