Gordon Bros & Sons in Front again
Saturday August 29th saw the EDC back at the Horse & Jockey for the second race from there but with a North wind this week it was to be a different race with the 2,500 birds having to face a head wind . Released at 10am Gordon Bros & Sons went one better than their result of the previous week when they had been first & second open ,this time they took the first 3 places in the open plus a further six birds placed with the first three in the Open together on 1267&1266 ypm .
Again as the previous week C & H Cully were next with two with Tony Smith in at 7th and Annalong’s Kevin Rooney Son & Dtr completing the top ten in the open and also the top ten in the East Section . At 11th & 12th open it was Mr & Mrs Brown of Dundonald who claimed the first two in the West section , in fact Dundonald members had all but two of the West Section places .The full results open section and Nominated were :
