The Welsh North Road Federation

The WNRF held its fifth young bird race of the season from Nantwich in Cheshire where on the 22/8/21 at 11.30am into a north west wind the birds were released on their way. 

The top ten positions in the federation were as follows sitting back in the driver’s seat from Nantwich was Anthony Buttigieg & Son flying 104 miles taking 1,2,3,4,5 in the federation with his darkness flown young birds on the sliding door system.  All five scoring birds were bred by Derek Nicholls of the Premier Stud, the federation winner Anthony calls Euro Girl as this hen is bred directly from Eurovision paired to champion Euro both direct from Herman Cuesters.  The second bird also a hen but a Dirk Van Den Bulck that has already carded which was bred direct from Geraint Thomas and Kitteltia which are both direct children from The Champion Kittel. The third bird a direct son out of Gee who is super breeding direct son off Greipel from Dirk Van Den Bulck. The fourth bird a Herman Cuesters bred directly from a daughter of Man ‘O’ Chester of Phenomenal Dark Secret and finally the fifth bird a inbred line bred bird from the famous Better Than Bolt from the stud, Anthony’s velocities were five birds at the loft together doing 1586.

6th federation was Mr & Mrs J Beresford & Son flying 101 miles with a Darkness flown Mealy Dirk Van Den Bulck hen doing 1584.

7th federation was L Golledge & Son flying 103 miles with a little blue hen flown on the Darkness system with both sexes left together in the young bird loft.  Leighton informs us she is a Leo Hermans bred off a pair of birds from Tom Howarth of Northwich Cheshire who has been a great help to the partnership their velocity was 1578.


7th Fed Nantwich

8th, 9th & 10th federation was Hadden & Son (Brian Bibsey)  Brian informs us the birds are Premier Stud Herman Cuesters based birds with velocities of 1576, 1575 & 1573.
