Pinxton North Road Hs open shows
Pinxton NRHS held its second set of open shows with two shows held on the same day of old cocks through the wires and old hens through the wires a great turn out with 112 birds entered for the two classes held on Sunday the 5th of December at the Pinxton miners welfare the two judges for the event were John Norris & Andrew Tudour both from Grantham if you follow north road racing and the results you will all of heard and seen John Norris published in the shakeup which includes a 1st NRCC Lerwick and winner of the Kings Cup plus also achieving 2nd open Lerwick 3rd open Lerwick 4th open Lerwick & a 5th open Lerwick all in different Lerwick races and other open top Lerwick results he has won his section 6 times from Lerwick & has now created his own Lerwick flying family of birds, plus also achieving many first federations and New North Road Amalgamation wins and recently the Saint Boswells £25,000 Futurity race winner Andrew Tudour is a regular supporter of the local Grantham North Road flying club that is always in the shake up and supports most events and is amongst the competitors and is as we say a dark horse in the results so the two judges got down to business with plenty of knowledge while the raffles and prizes were drawn old cocks results were as follows winning the show with a blue Dordin crossed cock was Andrew Greengrass of Cresswell winning £16.
