The Nottingham North Road Federation

The Nottingham North Road Federation held its seventh young bird race of the 2021 season from Darlington in County Durham at the wide open Darlington cattle market car park on the 18/9/21 at 12.15pm.  The birds were liberated into a light south west wind.

The top ten positions in the federation were achieved by the Nottingham Fed north road Lion where he had his roar to claim 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 in the federation was Kevin Lawson flying 97 miles.  His federation winner and 3rd federation scoring birds are both younger nest mate sisters to the two nest mate sisters that won £4000 for Kevin & Paul Spendlove in the new north road amalgamation Saint Boswells 2021 Futurity race.  The winner, a dark chequer hen and the 3rd the black pied hen, these are of Kevin’s Lambrecht family kept Also the 5th & 10th federation scoring birds were Lambrecht’s as well.


1st & 3rd Fed Sisters 

2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th federation scoring birds were all Herman Cuesters of the stunning blue chequers Kevin informs us these were all flown on the darkness system with both sexes left together running together in the young bird loft and we’re not paired up Kevin’s velocities were 3 x 1244, & 7 x 1243.
