Derbyshire North Road Federation

The DNRF third young bird race to report on was being held at Newton Aycliffe services in County Durham on the 13/8/23 at 09.00am into a brisk south west head wind the birds were liberated the top twelve positions in the federation are as follows; claiming another consecutive federation win of 1st, 5th & 6th federation was Ralph Jepson flying 106 miles doing 1138, 996 & 987.

2nd federation was Mr & Mrs Hasslam & Son flying 107 miles with a blue darkness flown hen being a Herman Cuesters based doing 1131.

3rd federation was Robert Pearson flying 109 miles with a darkness flown separated on the sliding door system blue Gabby Vandenbeale based hen doing 1125.

4th & 9th federation was Keith Orton & Son flying 104 miles his first a Spider man Kittel crossed Gabby Vandenbeale chequer hen and the second a blue hen being Northern Bound based crossed Gabby Vandenbeale being flown on the darkness system on the sliding door system with velocities of 1055 & 957.

7th federation was Ian Bargh flying 92 miles with a pretty red grizzle hen being a Jansen crossed Bushart doing 985.

8th & 11th federation was Glynn Tryner flying 103 miles his first a blue cock of his syndicate loft based Dean Skuse and Gabby Vandenbeale family followed by a Bonnie red hen which was bred by Derek & Ryan Nuttall and was purchased by Glynn at the federations breeder buyer pen sale flown on the Darkness system doing 976 & 928.

10th federation was Darren Padgett flying 111 miles with a chequer hen being bred by Clarence & Barbara Haymes of Cromford the sire is off Marshal Marshal & Smith from their famous big Smithy and funky magic lines and the dam being from Mark Gilbert of Windsor from out his famous Barcelona hen Darren’s velocity was 929.

12th Federation was Richard Oldham flying 107 miles with a chequer Cock being a Larkins crossed Corbett Bushart bred by Richards friend Brian Barnham of Durham with a velocity of 923 flown naturally.
