The NNRA held its south section Futurity event for its southern members of the south west of England and south of Wales this was being flown from Alnwick in Northumberland with only the Futurity ring birds flying for the £17,067 on the table to be given to 24 positions of both breeder and racer this was flown on the 13/9/24 with the birds liberated at 9am into westerly wind.
The top ten racers and breeders to report on in the event having a rememberable day was Trevor Cooke of Gloucestershire winning 1st and 2nd place Futurity plus 1st and 2nd International championship club with Trevor winning £5500 in the Futurity and £257 in the IFC event this same bird prior to the event achieved 2nd Longford Gala 2 bird Championship club from Wetherby and winning Longford club picking up money also in these events for the Alnwick event Trevor's 2 x scoring birds were flying 244 miles and was on the darkness system flying on the natural system flying back to the loft with both sexes left together and Trevor's young bird's receiving every young bird race in the program none are stopped of sex or colour all must go and are raced and fair play to him a lot these days don't stick at the full programme the breeders of these 2 x scoring Futurity birds and IFC winner

and second place and winning £5500 were the partnership of Bentley & Cuthbert of Nottingham the winner a chequer hen being from a double grandson of Blackpool Kittel the dam is a double granddaughter of Golden Best Kittle and Dirk Van Den Bulk cross best Kittle and was bred by Central Lofts the sire being bred by Speed and Strength lofts (NAWAF Molan) and was bred from the pairs first nest young when together as both parents were purchased by the partnership in 2023 as stock the 2nd scoring bird a chequer cock is a De Klak bred down from pigeons related to village Lad responsible for 2 x up north combine wins with over 20,000 birds all the partnerships De Klaks come from their friends Ron Stevens and Gary MCcauley who race under the name Stevens & MCcauley from North Shields in the north east the village lad blood lines run through all the partnerships De Klaks kept and the nest mate to this scoring cock was sent to the big Barnsley federation Gold ring event and won the partnership £645 achieving 6th place from Lyndhurst in the event so a good earning nest pair bred there and the De Klaks have been performing well on the road for the partnership from Elgin and Fraserburgh at the 300 plus mile mark Trevor's scoring velocities were 1403 and 1389.

Claiming 3rd and 10th plus they scored other money positions out of the top ten reported on was the Walker brothers of Dursley their 3rd place bird winning them £1000 was bred by J & S Dangerfield of South Normanton Derbyshire who also win £1000 the bird a blue chequer hen flying 244 miles and being a Van Loon from the Dangerfield's old winning loyal Van Loon lines they've kept over the years when father and son together flying and scoring south road and north road route the Walker brothers had their birds on the darkness system flown naturally sitting nest eggs and paired up their next top ten takes 10th place being a blue cock bred by Luis Palocious Ribes of Yate town being bred from a Joe Thompson of Bristol bird of Wall Lunt & Green lines when paired to a MC Kee & Da Costa bird Luis informs us the Walker brothers win £70 and so dose Luis Palocious Ribes win £70 the Walker Brothers velocities were 1348 and 1219.
4th and 6th was Stuart Luff of Gloucestershire flying 256 miles his first a blue hen being bred and raced by Stuart being a Jelle Jellema based bird and Stuart's second a mealy hen bred by Gregg Johnson of Ilkeston being a Late David Rouse of Kimberly bird crossed Bushart Stuart's first bird wins £800 and the second of £200 Stuart and £200 Gregg Johnson all flown on the darkness system naturally together flying to the loft with velocities of 1317 and 1295.
5th was Adrian Bishop of Bristol flying 275 miles with a chequer cock being bred by Sylwester Kaminski of Worksop being bred from a pair of birds from close friend Luckaz of Team UK of Nottingham and friend of Andrzej Stanowski of Bristol Luckaz Sylwester and Andrzej are of all three good close friends and successful north road fliers the sire is also the father to Team UKs 4th open NRCC Dunbar and 1st open NRCC Perth 2023 bird and the dam is also the mother of Team Uks new north road Amal 2021 Futurity scoring bird that won them £1000 in the event so a pair of producing birds paired together by Sylwester.
Adrian Bishop & Andrezj, Sylwester & Luckaz
7th was Szmaglik & Humphries of Bristol flying 268 miles with a natural flown blue cock being bred by Graham & Sue Watkins of Bristol being a Kees Basua bred from birds from Paul Fisher & Son of Blackpool both parties of breeder and racer win £100 each with a velocity of 1278.
9th was Chris Orchard of Stroud flying 252 miles with a chequer pied hen being home bred by Chris and is of his own blended creation family of blend breeding and was flown on the traditional young bird natural system flying back to her perch winning £140 with a velocity of 1267.
8th position as both racer and breeder was Peter Goodright of Cardiff flying 274 miles being a blue hen of his loyal Gabby Vandenbeale family responsible for international championship club wins and Welsh north road federation wins plus many other wins over the years in events taken place she was flown on the darkness system flying back to her perch winning £150 with a velocity of 1276.
