The Millbridge North Road Federation
The Millbridge federation was back at Hexham on the 31/8/24 with the young birds and at 13.35pm the birds were liberated into a light east northeast wind direction.
The top twelve positions in the federation are as follows. Taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th federation was the Castello Family & Leach flying 89 miles with 4 x own family strain created by the family crossed Leach Brothers Van Den Bulks with velocities of 2x 1404, 1403 and 1381.
4th federation was A & B Halstead flying 93 miles with a blue hen being a Lambrechts being flown on semi widowhood with a velocity of 1398.

6th, 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th federation was S Speight & Son flying 86 miles the first a chequer pied hen that was bred by J & J Greenfield the next a blue hen bred from Lent stock birds from the Woodroofe brothers this was followed by a home bred strain of years kept Gabby Vandenbeale strain blue hen the next was a Red Grizzle hen bred by fellow club mate Ronnie Kitching and the final a chequer pied cock being again bred by J & J Greenfield and is the nest mate to their first clocked bird their velocities were 1378, 3 x 1377 of 1377.688, 1377.271 and 1377.063,and 1376.855, 9th fed breaking the Speights good flow up was C Lister & Son & Grace flying 89 miles with an own bred strain bird doing 1377.154.

12th federation was Ron Kitching flying 87 miles with a Steffan Lambrechts chequer white flight cock doing 1376.577 a close race with great returns well done all.
