The New North Road Amalgamation
The New North Road Amalgamation held its first race of the 2020 season on 6/7/20 from Hexham In Northumberland and due to a poor wet weekend weather outlook again and a gale force west wind that does not help our members out the decision to race on a Monday was made so at 10am convoyer Peter released the birds this turned out to be a warm sunny day with a strong north west tail wind for the birds which when you fly north is quite a treat for the birds with not the regular south west head and side wind the birds made easy work of the flight back with members on the night reporting of good returns and a full loft so a great first start to a difficult season. To the result of the sections and opens top 12 of each there was also a total of £546.48 on the table for the members to fly for which is quite good at only £1 a bird to send and this our second season operating so things are hopefully progressing so we can pay out more prizes to more members.
