The Nottingham NR Fed held its third young bird race of the season from Newton Aycliffe County Durham at the A1 Services on the 23/8/20 at 07.15am convoyer Ian Daikin released the birds into a light south south west wind on site and on route home.

The top ten in the federation were as follows, first federation was Neil Pickering & Son of Ollerton with a young pied cock flying 98 miles doing 1292.
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Fed was Paul Crooks flying 115 miles with his darkness flown team of Herman Cuesters and a few of his faithful successful Van Loons in the shake up doing 1290, then two birds together on 1283 then another two birds together over the pad on 1282
7th and 8th Fed was Phil Cresswell and family flying 112 miles also with their Herman Cuesters young bird team that are proving their keep for the partnership with two birds pitching together for home doing 1281.
9th and 10th Fed was R Pacey flying 110 miles with two blue cocks doing 1280 and 1279.
